JOB TITLE : Finance Specialist (M-F - Albany, NY)

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? We're looking for a dedicated Finance Specialist to join our team at Marquis Certified Home Care in Albany, NY.

As a crucial member of our finance department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, particularly in the realm of patient care billing and payroll management.

Position Responsibilities :

Obtains Authorizations for Patient Care : You'll be responsible for securing timely and accurate authorizations for patient care, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained to facilitate proper billing procedures.

Process Payroll Biweekly : Your duties will include processing payroll on a biweekly basis, meticulously verifying manual entries with supporting documentation, and generating reports as required.

Assist with Billing and Collections : Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable (A / R) department to support billing and collections efforts for services provided by the agency, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and followed up on.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with both internal and external billing teams, fostering seamless collaboration and assisting with the export of financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes.

Invoice Routing : Efficiently route invoices to clients, maintaining clear communication channels to facilitate prompt payment and resolution of any billing inquiries.

Data Integrity Management : Take ownership of data entry tasks within our computer systems, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information at all times.

Administrative Support : Provide additional administrative support as directed by the Billing Specialist, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department.

Confidentiality : Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, maintaining the privacy and security of all sensitive information in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
